A weekly review your assistant prepares
Short version: schedule a Sunday task in Claude or ChatGPT that looks at your calendar and tasks for the week, writes a short look-back (done, moved, slipped, why) and drafts next week's focus. You read it, change what's wrong and accept the rest. Fifteen minutes instead of an hour, and you still make every decision.
What a good weekly review contains
- What got done, briefly, and what didn't, without judgement.
- What moved your goals. Not "busy", but progress on the one or two things that matter this season.
- What slipped and why: too much planned, an interruption, a task that was really three tasks.
- Next week's draft: one focus, the fixed appointments, the blocks for the focus, and free space.
Set it up on your assistant's scheduler
Both Claude and ChatGPT can run a prompt on a schedule (scheduled tasks). Create one for Sunday afternoon with the calendar connector on, and paste:
The limit: the result lands as a chat message. To act on it you copy things into your calendar or task app yourself.
How Weekglass does it
Weekglass ships the review as a ready-made routine, the Weekly look-back, suggested for Sundays at 16:00. You paste its prompt into your assistant's scheduler once. Each Sunday it looks back on the week on your board, proposes next week's focus and drafts blocks on the Week page. Nothing is final until you accept; anything you accept can be undone. The board shows when the routine last ran, with which assistant, and what it left for you.
To connect: sign in at app.weekglass.com, open the Connect card on your board and add the connector to Claude or ChatGPT (it's one link: https://app.weekglass.com/api/mcp). Then say "set me up". Weekglass is a private beta by invitation; join the waitlist for a spot.
