An AI that keeps your thesis on track
Short version: make the thesis one goal with a date and a weekly number of hours, let your assistant place those hours in each week around your calendar, keep a daily top three with the next concrete thesis step on it, and look back every Sunday at what moved. The assistant drafts; you decide. What it needs is a place where that plan survives between chats.
The setup that works
- One goal, in your words. "Submit the master's thesis by [date]", with why it matters to you. Not ten sub-goals.
- A weekly budget. For example 16 hours of deep work. Your assistant places them in the week around seminars, work and life, as proposals.
- The next step, not the chapter. Each morning, one concrete thesis step on the top three: "rerun the baseline with the corrected boundary condition", not "work on chapter 4".
- A Sunday look-back. Hours done against the budget, what moved, what's stuck, and a draft for next week.

Where Weekglass fits
On Weekglass the thesis is a goal on your board, and your assistant connects projects, blocks and habits to it, so the board shows what moved the thesis this week and whether you're on pace. The morning routine sets the top three before you open the board; the Sunday look-back drafts next week; every block is a proposal you can accept, move or undo. It works the same with Claude or ChatGPT.
To connect: sign in at app.weekglass.com, open the Connect card on your board and add the connector to Claude or ChatGPT (it's one link: https://app.weekglass.com/api/mcp). Then say "set me up". Weekglass is a private beta by invitation; join the waitlist for a spot.
Weekglass doesn't write your thesis or judge your research. It keeps the week around it honest.
