Why not just Claude + Calendar + Todoist connectors?
Often, you should. If you use one assistant and want it to read your calendar and add tasks when you ask, Claude's Google Calendar and Todoist connectors do that well, at no extra cost. Weekglass is for the part they leave open: a week that stays planned and current between chats, where every change your assistant makes waits for your tap, can be undone, and is visible in one place, whichever assistant made it.
Side by side
| Claude + Calendar + Todoist connectors | Weekglass (with Claude or ChatGPT) | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the plan lives | In the chat, plus whatever Claude writes into Todoist and your calendar | On one board: today, the week, goals and projects. The chat is where you talk; the board is what stays. |
| How changes land | Straight into Todoist or Calendar once you allow the tool call | As a proposal you accept or reject in one tap; nothing on the week is final until you do |
| Undo | Whatever each app offers; no single record of what Claude changed across them | Every change is logged with its author (Claude, ChatGPT, a routine, you) and can be undone |
| Goals and the weekly view | You ask for them each time; Todoist holds tasks, not goals | Goals are first-class; the board shows what moved each one this week |
| Recurring planning | A scheduled task you write yourself | Ready-made routines (morning, evening, Sunday look-back) you paste into your assistant's scheduler |
| More than one assistant | Each connects on its own; nobody sees what the others did | Claude and ChatGPT write to the same board, with per-assistant permissions and a pause switch |
| Price | Included in your Claude plan; Todoist has a free tier and Pro at about $5–7 a month | Free during the private beta |
| Where data is stored | With each provider (Google, Doist) | Frankfurt, Germany; export and delete everything in Settings |
When the connectors are the better choice
- You use one assistant, and a task list plus your calendar already is your system.
- You don't want another place to look; you're happy to ask Claude each time.
- You're on Claude's free plan, which allows one custom connector. Weekglass would have to be that one.
- You need a team task manager. Weekglass is for one person's week.
When Weekglass adds something
- You want Monday's plan to still be right on Wednesday without re-prompting.
- You want to see, and undo, what an assistant changed, before it changes your week.
- You run Claude and ChatGPT (or several agents) and want one place they all keep.
- You have one long goal, like a thesis or a launch, and want the week to serve it.
You can also use both: Weekglass shows your Google Calendar when you connect it, and your assistant can bring tasks over from Todoist into the week.
What Weekglass is, in one paragraph
Weekglass is one calm board (today, the week, your goals) that your own Claude or ChatGPT fills through a connector and keeps current. Every change an assistant makes is a proposal you approve in one tap, carries its author, and can be undone. Routines on your assistant's scheduler prepare the morning and the Sunday look-back. Data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany, and you can export or delete all of it in Settings. It's a private beta: free, by invitation, for one person and their own week, not for teams.
