Why not a Notion page or a Claude artifact?
Both can work, and both are yours to build. Claude can make you a dashboard artifact in minutes, and artifacts can now keep data. Notion lets you design any system you like, and connects to Claude and ChatGPT. Weekglass is the opposite trade: a fixed shape (today, the week, goals) that you don't build, which any of your assistants can keep current, where every change waits for your tap and can be undone.
Side by side
| Claude artifact | Notion | Weekglass | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who builds it | Claude, from your prompt | You, or a template | Nobody: it's ready, your assistant fills it |
| Which assistants write to it | Claude | Any assistant with a Notion connection, with the access you give it | Claude and ChatGPT, each with its own permissions and a pause switch |
| How changes land | Directly | Directly, into pages and databases | As proposals you approve; every change logged with its author and undoable |
| Recurring planning | Scheduled tasks you set up | Notion's agents or your assistant's scheduler | Ready-made routines: morning, evening, Sunday look-back |
| Best at | A quick, custom view for one person in Claude | Documents, wikis, team databases, any system you can design | One person's week, kept current by their assistants |
| Price | Included in your Claude plan | Free tier; Plus €9.50 a month; full AI on Business (€19.50) | Free during the private beta |
Choose an artifact or Notion if
- You enjoy designing your own system and want it exactly your way.
- You only use Claude, and a custom view is all you need (artifact).
- You share the plan with a team or keep long documents next to it (Notion).
Choose Weekglass if
- You don't want to build or maintain the board, only to use it.
- You want to approve and undo what an assistant changes, with a log of who did what.
- You use more than one assistant and want them to keep the same week.
What Weekglass is, in one paragraph
Weekglass is one calm board (today, the week, your goals) that your own Claude or ChatGPT fills through a connector and keeps current. Every change an assistant makes is a proposal you approve in one tap, carries its author, and can be undone. Routines on your assistant's scheduler prepare the morning and the Sunday look-back. Data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany, and you can export or delete all of it in Settings. It's a private beta: free, by invitation, for one person and their own week, not for teams.
